Gulmarg Ski Resort in the Himalayan Kashmir valley is experiencing a severe snowstorm, resulting in significant snow accumulation in different regions. In particular, the Gulmarg Ski Resort at 2600 meters has received one meter of snow, while the Mt Apharwat and Pir Panjal range at 4300 meters has received nearly two meters of snow. The temperature in the Gulmarg Ski Resort has dropped to -10°C over the last two days. Due to the large amount of snow, the avalanche stability of the higher reaches of the mountain will be high for the next two days, making it an ideal time for an adventure in the Himalayas.
